Governing Board Diversity

Members of the Board are selected on the basis of their willingness to make a full contribution to its work and of their skills and experience. Members are drawn from and reflect the characteristics of the local community. The NGA diversity audit has been completed by all governors. Membership is split fairly evenly on the basis of gender with representation across all age groups. As would be expected with a church school, the vast majority of members are Christian. Members identify as white British, heterosexual, not having been looked after by the state and not having received free school meals. Most are state educated and many have studied at higher education level. Most have had responsibility for a child in the school system including several with experience of this school.
