The School Curriculum
Each child who attends Brindle St James' will cover a broad, balanced, sequential curriculum encompassing all areas specified in the National Curriculum. Whilst fulfilling its statutory obligations, Brindle St James’ seeks to promote other important skills through lessons in R.E and Personal, Social and Health Education. Provision is also made for the development of pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
Throughout the school year the timetable seeks to ensure that all subjects are given sufficient time in order that these requirements are met.
Our inclusion statement emphasises the importance of providing an inclusive learning environment for all pupils including those with SEND. Additional information on this can be found in our Special Education Needs Information Report and Equality Policy and Plan.
Families can find out more information by speaking with their child’s class teacher.
